School supplies are often a huge financial burden on the majority of my students' families every year prior to this global health crisis. With the new school year continuing to be online, my students' families have encountered more and more financial hardships and who knows if their families are able to get supplies for their children for the upcoming school year. Helping my students and their families with getting these items will offer a great amount of assistance in making sure all my students are able to access their online materials and continue learning. While all my students will be issued a district laptop, the majority of my students will not have all the supplies necessary to access online learning and be successful. Some key supplies are like earbuds to help the student focus on their recorded lessons and be distraction-free from the noise in their home or dry erase boards with 4 different color markers so my students could quickly write a response/draw a model and show it to the teacher during our live video meetings. My ultimate goals with these supplies are 1. help my students' families financially not worry about the materials they need and 2. bring the essence of the physical classroom to my students.
