With our current pandemic here in Hawaii, we have now gone to 100% distance learning. This has now made teaching very challenging. However, with the power of technology distance learning can be a little easier. With the use of an iPad Pro, I will be able use programs such as notability, screen castify, video conferencing (Webex, Google meets and Zoom),and access to educational apps used to distance teach ( Seesaw, Classdojo, I-ready, Epicbook, Sora and Wonders). With the transition from face to face to now distance learning, technology has become more important than ever. It will be the key element into teaching my curriculum and implementing best teaching practices. I will be hosting Google meets, Webex meeting and the ability to interact with my students using notability on an Ipad pro. Through this app, it will allow for note taking, annotations, dragging and dropping documents and video and audio recording all from my desktop. This iPad will give the power to connect my class with the tools they need to be successful in these unprecedented times.
