This year, school is going to look very different. One of our favorite things to do is to come together to the carpet and learn a new concept. Unfortunately, that will not be possible this year. However, with an iPad I can project my screen onto the Smart board and walk around the room during a lesson. This will help keep students engaged! I can also easily display student work or even a book on the Smart board without having to stay put at my desk next to the document camera. The best perk is that in case our school has to close, I can use my iPad screen on Zoom or Google Hangouts as a virtual whiteboard! I can still teach a math lesson and show how to solve a problem step by step on my virtual whiteboard. I can also project a book and teach a reading lesson from home. The Apple pencil will allow me to share notes on the smart board too! I can also interact with students by writing with my Apple Pencil on my iPad. This will allow for immediate feedback on student work like writing samples.
