All of our students want to learn and play on the classroom chromebooks. Our class can only have the chromebooks on silent right now because of the noise level. In class, headphones will provide the opportunity for the kids to learn and hear what their learning in the classroom comfortably, many at a time. This opportunity will help them to be able to hear and comprehend what they are seeing in the screen. Headphones are great for the kids because they can practice on their own, get comfortable, and obtain the full learning experience from an online setting. As they progress, they will be able to do team and independent work to build cooperative learning experiences and to be able to practice socialization. Students will also be able to take these headphones home with them in order for them to have the opportunity for distance learning. This is especially important this school year considering the country's current Pandemic. First and foremost, it will give all students a chance to learn independently in class without sensory overload. They can control their own volume, use the headphones to block out other noises, and continue to learn without the other distractions. This will enhance the environment not only in the classroom, but at home as well.
