These materials will help encourage critical thinking and problem-solving. These will also provide physical distance having multiple items to use around the classroom. With all of the new regulations, my students aren't able to work together as much as they usually do. This will help them explore new materials on their own or with a partner. These materials can be easily cleaned to use in other classrooms within my school. Having these items will provide learning experiences that children do not have access to at home. These will be used during free choice time to encourage open ended play. These will also be used during our art unit. Every year we explore art appreciation. The children learn about different artist like Kandinsky, Van Gogh, and other famous artist and the art they create. The children are also given the opportunity to recreate the famous art. All of the wooden pieces will be fantastic for this! The camera film will be used to document the process art the children create. This will really help young children have a true appreciation for art.
