The Parrot Done from Best Buy will open a world of new possibilities for my STEM students. We are use to spending so much of our day inside learning standards and skills. This drone would give us the ability to take learning to outside and to the next level. In large cities today, drones are being used for no contact delivery services. In a small, rural town like our's in Tennessee having a drone to incorporate into projects would be a dream come true. Students could learn about aerodynamics and how weather effects flight. Students could also learn how large companies, like Amazon, are using drones for no contact delivery. Students could create a package that needed to be delivered via drone. They would have to design and create a package that could be carried by the drone a certain distance and delivered safely. Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) would all be addressed in this type of project. Thank you for all you do to support education and our school systems.
