While this school year is not beginning the way most of us had planned, I am looking forward to a new challenge. I am so excited to be teaching a whole new group of Kindergartners, and I am beyond blessed to be their teacher. I wish to give them the best possible learning experience while engaging in a comfortable, safe environment. As the needs of my students change, I must change and adapt my classroom to fully engage and reach every child. Transitioning from traditional desks to more comfortable, sensory friendly seating will ensure that my students are able to foster their creative thinking and feed their ever growing minds and bodies while socially distancing. Flexible seating will allow my students to stay calm, focused, and productive, which will lead to a more effective learning environment.
