This is the first year I am offering AP Environmental Science at my school. Immediately after getting the class approved by my district, COVID came; and like so many places, our school budget has been cut drastically. Since students will be at home, it is even more important that they are kept engaged and given opportunities to make connections about what they are learning and their environment. I had planned to have each student read the Sixth Extinction: An Unnatural History by Elizabeth Kolbert, because it provides clear examples of what students are learning in AP Environmental Science . Your donation of a book will help my students check out a class copy to read while they are doing my class online from home.
