The "What's Inside Me" aprons would enhance my students' learning by providing a three-dimensional look of their organs. I teach a read-aloud unit on the human body. My first graders learn about several body systems, including the skeletal, muscular, digestive, nervous, and circulatory systems. The "What's Inside Me" aprons are the perfect addition to this study. For example, my students could review the organs of the digestive system while they place them on the apron. This helps them to not only learn about these organs and their functions but also see where these organs are located in their bodies. The aprons also include organs from other body systems proving them to be an excellent resource for this unit of study.
