I am extremely excited to be teaching Forensic Science this year. I have 4 classes and 152 students signed up this year. Because this is the first time this course has been offered at our school, there are limited supplies borrowed from the Biology department that I have access to. I plan to incorporate engaging lessons that will create an interest in solving crimes, studying the causes and theories of crime, and conducting crime scene investigations. I want my students to experience what it is to be a real-life Forensic investigator. I want my students to be inspired to learn. To make this a highly successful and engaging class, I am requesting the online Diablo Highway Forensic Science lab activity for my class. Students will be able to participate in interactive labs of a real-world cold case within a flexible learning experiences. Students will learn current techniques such as firearms identification and blood typing. Your donation would provide students with realistic field experience within a safe online environment while gaining the latest cutting-edge skills needed in a future career.
