These mouthpieces will ensure that new band members of both the Tyner Academy and Tyner Middle Academy band programs will have the ability to play an instrument if they just borrow one from the school. Last year, we ran into an issue of not having enough trumpet mouthpieces, which meant that some students couldn't participate in class or practice at home until the band program had aquired new ones or until the student could save up enough money to buy their own. This project will ensure that all interested students get to participate every day in the Tyner band programs.
