These are unprecedented times and teachers are going to have to find a variety of ways to keep learning from home engaging. The more we are able to make learning fun and interactive, when students are at home and are surrounded by multiple distractions, other siblings, and working parents, the more likely they will be able to learn and retain the content and skills they need to be successful. I'm requesting a subscription to Nearpod which is a digital learning platform where I will be able to create slideshows that include games, matching, fill in the blank, open-ended questions, drawing boards, polls, images, videos and so much more. In order to have students work at their own pace (without a teacher changing the slides), the paid version is required.
