Due to our current social distancing guidelines, my students will spend a lot of time in the classroom working independently. I have a set of four LeapFrog "Tag" pens that have been used and loved in my classroom over the last four years. As I began to think about activities that my students can do while social distancing, the use of LeapReaders immediately came to my mind. I already have 25+ LeapFrog books, but I am in need of new LeapReader pens. When used to read the accompanying LeapFrog books, the LeapReader pens will help my students to practice the following skills: sounding out letters and words, following along with the stories as they're read aloud, and introducing new vocabulary to help build reading confidence. These LeapReaders will have a huge impact on the first graders in my classroom. Thank you for your consideration!
