My 2nd grade students love exploring hands on learning.These materials will help me to build individual tubs for my classroom. These tubs are a great hands-on alternative for morning work or early finishers. These tubs will allow students to think, create, share, build fine motor skills, and have fun. By providing students with various types of materials, they will expand their imagination and critical thinking by designing and building structures or writing creative stories. During a typical school year, students would work in groups and practice these skills through learning centers or cooperative learning groups. This school year, it is important to continue to build my students creativity and critical thinking while also practicing social distancing. These morning tubs will give my students various materials to allow their imaginations soar.
