Visuals help vocabulary acquisition when learning a new language. During live and recorded online instruction, these pocket charts and the stand they are in will allow me to use visuals to teach and practice new vocabulary with beginning ELL students each day. Visuals are important for ELLs because they decrease anxiety and increase comprehension. I already have Frames for Fluency, and now I just need the pocket charts and stand. I'll be ready to use the visuals from that curriculum to help my students practice new words and sentences in English.
