The longer I am a teacher, the more I see how detrimental it is for students to be absent. The majority of absences are because students are sick. If students get sick, then they are absent from school. When students are absent from school, they fall behind in class. This causes them to be discouraged, stressed out, and often negatively affects their grades. Clean air is not only important but essential to us all. This air purifier powerfully cleans for a healthier environment and helps create a more comfortable learning space. During this time of Covid-19, clean air in the classroom is even more essential to us all. My school is open to the outside (only the classrooms are enclosed, the bathrooms and halls are exposed to the open-air). Because of this, the students track in a lot of dirt, germs, pollen, etc. It also means the classrooms get very damp in the Florida environment, and mold spores thrive in damp and humid areas. Dust mites, mold spores, pollen, etc. worsen eye and skin irritations, asthma, lung infections, breathing difficulty, illness, and the list goes on. My school is 29 years old and the classroom has collected lots of germs that lead to health problems. An air purifier is desperately needed and will help my students immensely. An air purifier is important because it will quickly and quietly clear allergens, harmful particles, remove odors, germs, viruses, pollen, dust, dander, mold spores and all other pollutants present in the air. Students that suffer from allergies, asthma, or any other respiratory conditions will be provided with relief when having a classroom with an air purifier.
