Many of my students come from low-income families where technology and school/art supplies are the least of their worries. Having digital art technology at school, available for students to experience and use, can put them on track to future graphic design or art-making careers. It can help them to explore technology they will potentially use during college courses, at their job, or even just as a future hobby/recreation. My students will use these iPads to create digital drawings, mixed media artworks, and take/edit photos and video presentations. They will be an invaluable resource to our students.
