As we prepare to adapt to new ways of learning, things will definitely be different for us this year. Most of my students will be meeting face to face in our school building and a portion will be learning online. As we adjust to our new normal safety, structure, consistency, and engagement are all extremely important. Students cannot learn if they do not feel safe or cared for. These materials will help to make our environments more comfortable for learning. The lighting for live lessons, the laptop and printer for special projects, and the PPE for cleanliness and safety. Creativity will play a big part in our curriculum this year. The focus will not simply be on technology, but creating projects and books of our own that will allow us to feel the pride of creating something that expresses our skills learned and talents. Middle School students are filled with so many ideas and talents. By allowing them to express themselves in a creative learning environment, then school becomes fun and educational.
