Engaging students and building self-motivated innovators and engineers through the use of STEM is what I envision in my classroom. Students will be able to use the power of their imagination to make their own mark on the world. COVID has impacted students socially and emotionally. Working with others and socially interacting with others will help strengthen their communication and social skills. The materials I've chosen will be used for students to work on planning and carrying out investigations. They will work on building relationships by working with partners, collaborating their ideas, and testing them out. My classroom is a place where they can work together and find solutions to the problems of the world. (K-2-ETS1-1, K-2-ETS1-2, K-2-ETS1-3)
