Access to technology at home is a huge problem for my students. Over 90% of future jobs will require some level of familiarity with technology. So, I want to make sure that my students at least have access to it while in the classroom. Giving my students access to technology today, will help provide them with a brighter future tomorrow. We will use these headphones with an interactive literacy program in our classroom. Along with various other exercises, the program allows the student to read aloud and record their reading. I can then use that information to help the children improve their literacy skills. Also, having a class set will mean that each child can use their own headset which minimizes the possible spread of germs.
