I have students who have different learning styles. The books will be placed in the library so the children will have books to read and read to them about positive behaviors, healthy choices and emotions. The sandbox will be used in the area where they can calm, reduce anxiety and discuss difficult topics. The conversation starter, writing prompts and empowerment cards will help with difficult conversations. Many of my students have lost loved ones and the grief bubble is useful during times where they have difficulty adjusting after the deaths. The growth mindset activity book will help my students to learn life long strategies and lessons. The Learning Resources Conversation Cubes, Social Dice, Autism Therapy, Ice Breaker Cubes, Foam Cubes will be used as a method for the students to relate to each other in the group and school. I would love for my room to be a safe place with resources and tranquility. Students who are equipped to deal with problems that affect them will improve on a personal level are then better able to navigate the pressures of adult life. Your donation will give children the books, activities and games needed for healthy communication when feeling sad, angry, upset or frustrated.
