These books will be extremely helpful for our book studies throughout the school year! It will give the students an opportunity to have a book in their hands, as opposed to reading it on a technological medium. Growth in Reading is my biggest goal with using these books to complete the book studies. Lessons like these allow me to meet each student where they're at, no matter their reading level. I believe that students will work to meet any standard that you have for them, so I have high expectations for my students! Students will listen to some chapters be read to them, read in pairs to each other, and independent read. I believe that having these experiences truly help students grow as readers, especially when the books are factual and interesting!
