The world has changed in ways that we could have never imagined. Teachers were underfunded before but now we are really seeing the effects. Teachers are having to create spaces that foster E-Learning but no resources to help. I want to be able to give my students a learning environment they deserve as we are moving into a virtual learning environment. My students will be learning from home, and will log into class daily for Live Science instruction. For my students Live Science instruction, I want to create a virtual classroom that is engaging and similar to their in person instruction. In my virtual classroom, I will utilize my desk area to organize student materials, while also having a clear area for my computer for Live instruction. Daily, the white board will be utilized to outline the objectives and activities, while also providing an area for me to create diagrams, models and examples of various items aligned to Science standards for whole group and small group instruction. Additionally, the chart paper will be used to create anchor charts that can put around my room to create a virtual classroom and assist with student learning, then the Science posters are similar to those used in my brick and mortar classroom. Overall, my students will benefit from the items that I am requesting as these are similar items I use in my brick and mortar classroom, and will now be used in creating a virtual classroom space. Through these items, my students will be able to be actively engaged in virtual learning.
