Please help provide "mirrors and windows" through a multicultural library for elementary school students. I want my students to be able to see themselves in the literature I read to them. I also want to provide them with meaningful opportunities to explore lives that are different from their own. The books I have compiled display many cultures, address gender identity, family representation, and allow us to "travel" far beyond the walls of our classroom-- or our computers during this time! I look forward to facilitating important discussions with my students as they continue to explore the world around them.
