With all of the changes happening because of Covid-19 students will only be able to come to campus every other day and will be distance learning from home on their off days. We do not have enough funds at my school to provide devices for all of the students, and many of the students do not have proper devices at home. At our school we use gmail accounts and google platforms for our distance learning, so it is helpful for the students to learn on Chromebooks. I want to have continuity with the programs I use because this is going to lead to higher student engagement and simplify the parent support needed. Having all the students work at home on the same device they use at school will minimize any learning lost because of technology problems or inconsistencies between types of devices.
