Students will need to learn to be proficient users of technology, with the CARES act, the students in my classroom are now going to be at a one-to-one technology device ratio! Students in third grade are at critical crossroads academically. Math and reading fluency are crucial to success in school and well into adulthood. Many students suffer from long-term academic struggles if they cannot master essential math facts, as well as be able to read grade-level texts. With every student now having a device to bridge that gap, teachers are tasked with keeping the devices safe, charged, and used to maximum potential. The charging station will give teachers and students a place to keep these devices stored properly and charged sufficiently, so that they can be used for their academic purpose and last for years to come!
