Over the 13 years I've been teaching, I've seen more and more kids having trouble focusing while at school. My classroom has regular chairs and I've had lots of students fall out of them because they're leaning backward or forward on only 2 legs of the chair. I have tried using stretchy bands that go on the front legs of the chair to give kids something to do with their legs, but it didn't seem to work for all students. I've seen other teachers use these types of wobble chairs for kids that have the most trouble staying focused with great success. I hope that my students who need to wiggle in order to focus will be able to do even better on their academic learning with these chairs. Thank you for your help!
