Many of my students are reading significantly below grade level. The books on their reading level are childish and many of them don't like reading due to the immature graphics and content. These magazines which include real-world places, scenarios, and events along with actual pictures will help get my students excited about reading. My students will no longer have to read from a black and white article printed from the computer. Each student will have a magazine in front of them that they are then able to take home and share with their family. I am hoping that these materials will increase their love for reading which extends into the home environment.

About my class
