The items being requested will be beneficial in instruction during both online teaching days as well as when we are finally able to transition back to the classroom. For online teaching days, the television will be used to screen share from my laptop. This will allow me to teach class from a distance so the students are able to see my entire body while doing movement, and I am still able to see them following along and able to offer correction and praise. When we return to school, I can use the television to watch dance segment or show power-points while maintaining social distance. Currently, when we watch videos, the thirty students huddle around a 10inch laptop screen to try to watch, which is not ideal. The iPad during online instruction will be used to pre-record dance lessons for days where students are doing independent learning, and will allow for an easy upload from apple to apple when editing. During in person instruction, the iPad can be used to record the classes for students who are unable to attend classes due to needing to quarantine.
