These read aloud books will offer us many opportunities to have rich conversations about many issues that are so important for our children. The great thing about books is that I can use these to teach whether we are learning in person or if we are learning remotely. Additionally these books can be used for many years with many groups of students. I feel that it is so important to directly address our social emotional challenges, learn about growth mindset and mindfulness, and to have deep conversations about racial and gender diversity.

About my class
