This school year will be very different and pose obstacles like never before. I will be required to travel to classrooms for music instruction, using a cart for materials. All materials will need to be sanitized or switched out before going into the next classroom, while keeping music fun and engaging. These resources will not only increase student engagement, but will also allow me to quickly clean and disinfect before moving to another group of students. Students will enjoy making lots of music with the shakers, kazoos, and castanets. The sheet protectors will allow me change out theory worksheets and other activity sheets quickly and put in new protectors for the next class. I will be able to easily clean these sheet protectors by wiping them down. Students will be excited to get their own kazoo and the other plastic instruments will make cleaning and sanitation a breeze. With students learning remotely three days a week having an instrument and supplies to go home with students is also important.
