Starting the school year off with remote learning is going to be a challenge. My students deserve to learn, collaborate, and build relationships while being safe at home. My goal is to create a warm, welcoming, and safe environment for my students during these uncertain times. In order to do so, I need to implement new tools and strategies to keep students engaged and learning as if they were next to me in a physical classroom. Using the Apple Pencil, I will be able to create more interactive lessons to help engage my students more. The magic keyboard will allow me to grade and give feedback to my students more efficiently. I will also be able to screen share my iPad and use the Apple Pencil to demonstrate how to work out homework problems. As we start to transition into a hybrid learning model, the Apple TV will allow me to continue to use the Apple Pencil with my iPad by projecting the screen onto the whiteboard. I will be able to move around the classroom and help students while following good distancing guidelines.
