My students have used iPads in previous years. However, the current iPads are outdated and no longer serve the purpose to engage in the most recent technologies and google classroom experiences. With updated iPads, I will be able to incorporate the classroom technology into learning experiences that can mimic what they use at home. When we first went to distant learning models at the beginning of the pandemic, my students struggled with accessing the classroom activities through technology utilizing apps, such as an iPad. Updating our classroom technology will provide my students with more opportunities to practice and apply their academic skills daily at school and at home.
