Focusing while sitting still for long periods of time is hard for anyone to do, let alone Elementary School students who are used to being able to move around the room for activities. This year that is all changing with 6-feet regulations; they will be in the same room all day in the same seat. Flexible seating options will allow my kiddos to fidget in place to help them focus. They can wiggle, wobble, and move within their little six-foot box. I will get creative with how to support my student's needs and this is just one step in the process.
