I feel if the students have access to all the items they need within reach it will be easier to limit them touching other supplies and stay focused on their learning! This will be an area they can keep their workbooks, dry erase boards, pencil boxes, and their ID tags for safe keeping. If I want them to get out their writing notebook it will be quick turn around and grab from their chair pocket instead of walking over to cubbies and taking time out of learning to find their item.
