A magnetic, mobile whiteboard is a perfect tool that can adapt to the needs of my kindergarten class, so I can model the basics like the alphabet and math, and even more advanced material like writing sentences, and so many different Fundations lessons. The mobile and magnetic whiteboards can be brought closer to students, and can hold up posters and other materials. A whiteboard is honestly a teacher's best friend in the classroom. My kindergartners are always on the move, and they need materials that move with them. In my class we do a lot of "centers", or activities in which students practice lessons hands-on, often with manipulatives and eraser boards. Individual eraser boards are especially helpful when practicing handwriting and math. However, when there's not enough boards to go around and the markers always go missing or dry up, students can become distracted or discouraged from learning. This is exactly why my class needs individual eraser boards complete with pouches of supplies like pencils, markers, crayons, glue, scissors, and erasers. And in the time of distance learning, individual eraser boards and supply pouches will limit contact between students and increase individual productivity, and they can be brought home.
