As a new kindergarten teacher I want to be prepared for the upcoming school year as we begin by teaching virtually. I would like to have the tools that will help my sweet kinder students succeed and strive virtually and face to face. Teachers are in desperate need of materials to equip all of their students with distance learning resources so they can continue to participate in school from their homes. (HISD will be distance learning for at least 6 weeks). With the entire district teaching from home, new technology will be going to the student's to ensure they all have access. A new computer, document reader, and white board will help me to provide lessons and effective video conferencing with large and small group instruction through Microsoft Teams. My student will be able to see me teaching lessons using the computer, document camera and whiteboard.
