It will allow my students to be able to have their own box of manipulatives so they are protected from potentially passing germs from sharing supplies. Each child will then have all the things they need quickly at their disposal and will be able to access without any cross-contamination. Manipulatives are critical to teaching kindergarten because it allows for tactile and visual learning to take place, without depending solely on auditory learning. It will also allow students to show their learning in multiple ways, using a variety of methods and forms.
