The materials will make a HUGE difference in our portable classroom as our shelves our a bit empty and we could only go so far with construction paper and teacher-bought borders and items. Our special group of special needs students will explore the world with their hearts and hands and we need to make every effort to keep our areas and supplies clean and safe. Our high school students spend the entire day in a self-contained classroom. Our students vary in levels of disability and superpowers, so we want to stock our supply shelves with items they can explore AND we can sanitize every day. Also, movement is very important for students who feel overly contained. We hope to find respite in daily yoga and extra awesome dance parties. Please consider helping us during this uncertain time in education. We are masked up and ready to serve our students. We are hoping YOU will help to enrich our classroom.
