I do not have a rug for my students to gather during our group activities. A cozy, colorful, and welcoming rug is essential in every first grade classroom. My students are always ecstatic about gathering in a group and learning together. This builds a sense of community among my students. A classroom rug would create a comfortable meeting area for my students to build positive relationships through engaging and fun activities. This would be where we meet to do our daily calendar routine, have class discussions, listen to stories, sing songs, and play games. Please consider donating to fund our project to enhance my students engagement and learning with their peers.
