A large portion of biology is learning how DNA is the driving force of all organisms in their traits they possess, how the proteins coded from DNA drive cellular processes, and how an organism's DNA makes it unique. An important part of studying DNA is being able to do hands-on experiments to see DNA in real-world applications. With learning gel electrophoresis, the students are able to practice analytic and cooperation skills while they study DNA fragments. This also allows them build a foundation today in the lab skills they will need in their future careers (their tomorrow).

About my class
