Our Kindergarten classroom will be drastically different this year because of the constraints of maintaining a safe environment during the COVID-19 pandemic. I always strive to create a learning environment that will be a home away from home for my little ones as they move through their first year of elementary school. This year I want to go the extra mile to create safe personal spaces where my students can be their very best. Yoga mats will allow me to space students six feet apart and will give students the foundation for a safe, colorful and productive space to call their own. The mats will help to define individual space and embrace my little ones' needs to move and have visual reminders of what defines social distancing, allowing me more time to focus on teaching.
