Our students live a neighborhood where fresh food options are not available. I want to create a virtual atmosphere that will make learning fun and exciting for students to explore different environments, fall in love with nature, and garden at home successfully! As our students learn about different types of foliage and soil in Georgia, they will be better equipped to use the environment around them to grow produce while positively impacting their community with healthy food options. I want my students to master the art of gardening and learn more about the environments in Georgia with teacher narrated experiences! The new camera will allow me to capture videos and photographs of areas that are currently unexplored by my students. Any other option is simply impossible for me to truly expose them to various environments, I want to teach them with no limits! With this camera I will be able to record lessons to teach students about gardening, take students on guided meditation walks to support their social-emotional well-being, and expose them to environments they have yet to explore.
