These materials will be used to tie up all of the loose ends that I have in completing my classroom for my first year of teaching. When we are able to return to school, I want my classroom to be a place where my students feel comfortable and at home. The materials will ensure that my classroom is well organized, but will also meet the needs of students who need sensory input throughout the day. My list includes a rug where I will be able to conduct morning meetings with my students. I desire for this rug to be a space where students can actively engage and learn critical listening and thinking skills. I have also included various organizational bins specifically for our classroom library so that students are able to easily find and check out books from our library. Lastly I've included stools flex seating and chair fidget bands for students who have specific sensory input needs throughout the year. These supplies will go a long way in meeting the needs of my students and I can't wait to put them to use!
