This year will require many adaptations and a lot of thinking “outside the box”! I have had to remove my classroom tables and chairs in order to facilitate social distancing and not give up other important learning materials. As a result, my students will be working on the floor. These storage boxes will solve several problems in one solution: provide a place to store individual materials to reduce contamination, provide a writing surface for class work, and help students maintain social distancing in the classroom. While the changes we are making are not ideal, I am confident that my students will still be able to experience the joy of kindergarten!
