These materials will help students see the variety of literature and nonfiction available to them. It will allow the students the opportunity to try new types of texts without having to commit to the idea of spending money to purchase the book. Any student who is reading outside of the classroom will increase vocabulary, critical thinking, and speaking and writing skills. Having a diverse classroom library with authors from around the world opens their eyes to experiences they may never know of without this exposure. I have already started a classroom library, but the ability to add more books with even more options would be a dream come true!
