These books will be able to help my students read, learn and experience stories written about diversity! In a school with a extremely diverse population these books will help all of my students understand others and themselves better. Books like this help my students learn about themselves & others in their life by giving them a window into the world of Diversity in our culture. It's a wonderful thing for my students to be able to see themselves in the story line of books in our classroom, which is what I hope these books will bring to them! I hope these pieces of text will open doors to learning more about ourselves and other people when we share them in our classroom.
