Our kids have to transition to distance learning, so we can keep them safe and healthy. Most of these students live in poverty, so their parents can’t afford these materials. Earbuds with microphones and wireless mice will help bridge the achievement gap for our poor, under-achieving students during small group or 1:1 virtual meetings with me. Brick and mortar schools are not safe for these students, but we can still meet their learning goals and social/emotional needs. These communication and collaboration tools in this project can be used for several years, making this project a strong investment in our kids. The project will be replicated in future years, and it will affect entire households of students.
