With COVID still around, there is a lot of uncertainties of what the classroom will look like. How will we keep the environment safe for learning? Will the classrooms be full of children? How can we stop the spreading of germs? Can we keep our COVID numbers down? My classroom is full of young children who are among the demographic at higher risk of contracting COVID. I want to get these materials to help ensure the health and safety of my children. With the thermometer, I can easily take the temperature of the students daily to make sure they are fever free. I provide the blankets for the student's naps. With the laundry detergent, I am able to take the blankets home weekly and wash them ensuring the students have clean blankets as well as not having the fear that a student might have an allergic reaction to chemicals in detergent. I can also provide masks to anyone who is going to be working within the classroom to keep the spreading of germs to a minimum.
