These magazines come every month and have several great articles in them about things happening in the world around them. I use the magazine articles as bell ringers, which is a quick read and then a thinking/applying process, at the beginning of class or use them as a longer activity during the class period. These can be used as individual work or group work. The students are able to learn and discuss real situations that are happening to the people around them. The students enjoy learning about real life that they can apply to their life at some point.
